Angela K. Pollard, MSW, CMT, CKTP, is nationally certified and licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia (VA#19006385). She is a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute (PMTI) in Washington, DC, where she completed an exchange program with Georgetown University School of Medicine.With a Master’s degree in Social Work and experience in the field of counseling, Angela is client-centered and holds an understanding of the process of change in the body. This enables her to provide a thorough and sensitive approach to each person she works with. Angela holds specialized experience working with athletes of all levels; individuals suffering from TMJ Disorder or symptoms of TMJ Disorder commonly associated with stress (jaw clenching, tooth grinding, headaches, neck pain); post-surgical rehab; and clients with partial paralysis.
Angela is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the Kinesio Taping Association (KTA).
